The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings reviews

Revamped combat to a somewhat functioning affair, but watered down the RPG aspects a lot and slows traversal down to a crawl
Plays like molasses but nice and cinematic
Not a terrible game after all (as Geralt himself would say). Not too lengthy like Skyrim, nor short. The ending was slightly disappointing. Also, the navigation and maps are far from helpful. You have to pay too much attention to details that sometimes the fun part gets lost. On the other hand, you can never attain mastery in any of the attributes. Potion making, etc. seems to be a useless thing. Apart from these, this is a really really good game. The ratings are well justified.
