Thief II: The Metal Age reviews

I have no idea what I am supposed to do, but I am really enjoying it.

At the Time, one of the best Games ever for me!!! < 3 I would only think it really great if the Sound were to get a German Sound Track!!! :D So I have to watch German Lets Plays in even poor Quality ..

You love the Game, you hate it or you just like, you live it. A compelling Story of tragic Moments and Thrills. Graphically a marked Improvement of the Predecessor, dispensive a few really insignificant Bugs, sound technically a super atmosphere. 9 out of 10 Points (s)

Subject THIEF 2 In addition, I would like my Money back for this Part ' Thief2 ' because the Graphics are a Joke since I can honestly sit down also before old Atari that comes out the same, what did the developers think of here?! At ' Thief ' self there for me to Mecker was really Fun to play through as much as I really liked on the 2nd Part ... But as I said the Graphic is a No Go for me and has kinky my day off, I hereby ask for the Repayment of my Money in Forn of a Credit to my Steam Account. Thank you

Since the release date of this game I think I haven't spent a full year without digging it out and getting sucked in again. It's possible that this is the game I have accumulated the most hours in, ever. I'm aware that stealth is a problematic genre. Many people, including myself, have a hard time taking the patience to learn the controls, how to sneak, how to use given tools to help you stay undetected, and essentially spending a chunk of your play time just sitting in a shadowy corner. I can understand how a slow pace like that can seem unattractive. Still, give it a try. You will be amazed at how much fun it can be to observe a bunch of guards, overhearing conversations, just waiting for the perfect moment to make a run past them and into the next dark corner. This, combined with a highly immersive story and a never before seen setting makes Thief 2 an experience of its own. Sure the graphics are not up to date at all, but if you can overlook that, a fantastic experience awaits you. For me at least the graphics have a wonderful nostalgic flair to them and I haven't seen anything else like it ever since. And even if you can't get over the graphics, there's patches out there that feed this game with wonderful HD textures and objects. Speaking of fan made content: After finishing the main campaign, there's lots and lots of fan missions to try out. Many of which even surpass the original game in quality and originality. Given the fact that there's still new fan missions coming out regularly, the game practically offers infinite content. So yes, Thief 2 is definitely worth the few bucks it costs on steam, so try it out!
