Three Digits
About
Three Digits is the sequel to our first game Two Digits.
The objective is simple. You are given 14 numbers less than 1000, and all you have to do is to choose two subsets with the same sum.
Just try it. See how difficult it is!

Variant of the account is good with only additions and subtraction three digits follows two digits. In the first part, the numbers were less than 100 and thus formed by one and especially two digits (hence the title of the game). With three digits, the numbers are less than 1000 with a large majority ranging from 100 to 999. Each problem has 14 numbers. These numbers must be divided into two groups (green or red) so that the sum of each of the sets equals the other. You can use all the numbers or limit yourself to a few.
The + + simple rules to assimilate.
+ No need to be a math crack. This is limited to additions and subtraction.
Three digits can be a good educational tool for elementary school students.
+ The 300 problems offered (level mode) and the level generator (random mode) offer a good service life for a low price.
+ No blocking bug.
+ Despite the flaws presented below, I took pleasure in resolving these little problems.
The ± ± the solutions are not unique. However, this does not seem detrimental to me as in other puzzles, because here there is no question of finding a solution in a purely logical way. This is more of the observation related to mental computation.
± The last three levels (the last Pack) are super easy. It's a bit of a pity, but it's also definitely a little humorous wink.
The--ugly, austere and minimalistic screens. Difficult to use the word "Graphic" at this point.
-The unity engine is already a bit heavy, but I think that in addition the game is not sufficiently optimized. The memory used is almost 200 MB.
-At each launch, you have to go through the options to cut the music. The setting is not backed up. This is complicated because the volume gauge does not always work. My solution was to mute the sound for this application with the volume mixer built into Windows.
-The presentation of the numbers is not irreproachable. It would be desirable to be able to move/sort them to put them in order (ascending or descending). This is what I do using an ordinary Notepad. This makes it much easier and more enjoyable to solve the levels. Too bad to have to use another application (even a Notepad) to play more comfortably! Solving the levels just with the display in the game was more to fumble until you find the right solution in this jumble of numbers. It quickly became boring and repetitive. With the numbers noted in ascending order, the mental computation and the reflection take on a primordial role, in any case as far as I am concerned.
-No scrolling of the 300 levels proposed with the mouse wheel or the arrows of the keyboard (you have to use the vertical elevator). If at least the screen was automatically positioned on the last problem solved, it would be nicer.
-The level generator (random mode) asks to select a minimum and a maximum value for the numbers, for example a range of 100 to 800. A message indicates that a difference of at least 29 is required between the minimum and maximum ("the difference should be at least 29."). However, there must be a problem. I think it's 299 to read. When you end up with a randomly generated problem, the program offers a new one automatically, but it no longer takes into account the margin we had chosen before for the previous level.
-Successes (achievements) take time to be obtained. It is often necessary to raise the program several times before they are taken into account. A topic on the Forum insists on this, but no corrections have been made.
Conclusion the good and bad points of three digits balance. I could have put a negative note, but as I like the puzzles I preferred to see the positive side. If you don't particularly appreciate the puzzle games, go your way without regret.
