Threediopolis
About
Threediopolis is a lighthearted puzzler that hopefully won't break your logic bone. You stumble on the offices of a fellow named Ed Dunn, who gives you a list of tasks he'll pay yo well for. Easy, right?
If you can't find things right away, I hope you enjoy the random snark and scenery. But if you do find enough things, you can visit advanced mode--where you need to wander more, and farther, and some of the locations are unfair to find.
7th place in IFComp 2013, but I fixed a bunch of bugs since then and added silliness and balance.
Cover art by Wade Clarke.
The download includes four files:
- Threediopolis.zblorb, the main binary, which you can run in an interpreter specified in the download link
- logic.txt, which describes the reasoning to get through regular and advanced mode
- threediopolis-invisiclues.htm, which is an HTML replication of the Infocom InvisiClue booklets. You can click on the links, or push tab and return, to open them up one at a time.
- threediopolis_release_4_notes.txt, which shows the changes from release 3. I wish I had more than that, but I didn't keep track very well before then.
