Throbot

Introduction

Throbot is a short 2D side scroller puzzle game prototype.

The goal of the game is to progress through the 5 puzzles by throwing your robot to press buttons and open the doors.

Controls

"Left Mouse Button" to throw the robot towards the mouse cursor
"A" to move left
"D" to move right
Move the characters over each other to pick the robot up
"1" to control the main rectangle character
"2" to control the robot character
"Q" when standing in front of a button with the main character to rotate a fan counter clockwise, or to close a door
"E"  when standing in front of a button with the main character to rotate a fan clockwise, or to open a door
"Enter" to restart whole game

Characters cannot jump

Controls cannot be rebound.

Details

I made this game for college during an eight week project.

This game was made using the GDevelop engine, this allowed me to create this game without needing to know how to program.

This game was made only by me, Roel Hamersma, over the course of a few weeks.

The game is unlikely to be improved or updated but even a small donation can convince me to update the game.

Features I would add if I would continue development

- More and better levels
- A save feature
- Level select
- Better art and effects
