Choosing "MinMax" should guarantee that AI never loses - it either wins or draws. If you chose this algorithm and managed to win => let me know as it must be a bug.

If you wonder what "Decent" means under "AI mode" option => it is a mode in which there is:
- 80% chance that AI uses MinMax algorithm in order to make a decision
- 20% of making a random decision.
