Temporal anomalies are running amok with all creation! We need an experienced Time Cop to sort this mess out. Go through the major epochs of time, eliminate the nefarious anomalies, and destroy the Apocalypse before it's too late! Or else we'll have to rewind and start this all over again...
Time To Die is a turn-based roguelike about time. You battle monsters on a hexagonal grid, making use of various weapons and the ability to pause and rewind time at will. It's a tightly tactical experience which rewards clever thinking.
Key features:
- 7 themed and procedurally generated zones, each with their own enemies and bosses
- Beautiful hand-drawn pixel art by Samuel Wilson (artist for DCSS and Caves of Qud)
- Tactical combat that requires consideration of movement, positioning, direction of attack and simultaneity. Some enemies need to be hit from multiple angles at the same time to be defeated.
- Manipulate time in a turn-based environment, requiring inventive control to fully exploit
Time To Die was created for the Seven Day Roguelike Challenge 2018.
