Tiny Splatterpillars

The splatterpillars are getting pretty wild today but Gramma's mighty thirsty and she wants your help. Could you go and fetch her some of that sweet stuff before she loses her patience? Take care you don't get bug-squished along the way.

I made this game for TeenyTiny DragonRuby MiniGameJam 2021. This goal of the jam is to make a game that can be played from start to finish in 20 seconds. I took some liberties in adding a small intro and allowing the game to repeat any time the player loses or start again at a higher difficulty if they win. There are 5 levels of difficulty (Out of Control is the maximum).

The game was built with DragonRuby Game Toolkit and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in making 2D games.
