To Hell and Back (To Alaska)

Developed using Game Maker Studio in roughly 20 hours for the 49er Spring Game Jam 2016 at UNC Charlotte.

You are an archaeologist, on a dig searching for ancient Innuit artifacts in the Alaskan wilds when suddenly you run across a portal that leads to hell!

Though you are dragged to hell, its not your time yet, so your soul is brought back up to earth again. But hell never lets go of those who have been there, and it pulls you back in. Caught oscillating between worlds, Hell and Alaska, you begin to wonder which is worse.
