Tobe´s Vertical Adventure is another indie game of which abound to handfuls. With a nice design, nice melodies and a simple mechanics we will find a moderate amusement. Just Like that. The game is a plataformero of a lifetime with a 16-biter style. As the title mentions, the displacement of the phases will be vertical, having to take our character to the bottom of a grotto to catch a chest and then return it to climb before it collapses. The mechanics is always the same during the scarce 16 levels that the game has. You Can spend the game with two different characters, Tobe and Nana, or play in local Co-op (with the same keyboard) with both dolls. The game has three different endings depending on who you pass it to, but honestly it is not worth repeating up to three times the same and immutable screens. The duration is scarce. If We are one-armed and play with our feet it is possible that we are killed from time to time and we are late to pass the 16 levels in a little less than two hours. If you're a right-handed person, it won't last you. The game meets just what entertainment is concerned, but its high price (€4), for what little it offers makes it from the beginning a bad idea to buy. Honestly, I would see more possibilities if it was destined to smartphones and tablets, but Torbe´s vertical adventure can only be played on PC.

Down and back up. Tobe's Vertical Adventure Gameplay is a Retro 2D Platformer That is a nice Change. The Goal in the 16 Levels is to get down, recover the Treasure and then reach the Exit again in the Race against Time. On the Way Back, new Paths are uncovered and some Levels occasionally offer new Gameplay Mechanics. You have to rethink a little bit, because you reappear when You leave the left edge of the screen on the right. So a little like Pac-man. Furthermore, you can use limited Ropes to get further up and with The help of Balloons you can sink down more slowly. If you collect enough Coins and Animals, you can carry more of this Stuff and additionally increase your Life. The Game is not particularly demanding, well suited to Children and a Run Is over after about 90 Minutes. Then you can play through the Game with "Nana" and then the Whole thing again in the local Co-op. And if you still Feel like it, you can try Spicun. Story Tobe just sits in front of the Screen and gamers. Of course, Girlfriend Nana doesn't agree with that and takes Tobe on a real Treasure hunt. Tobe, completely surprised, is dragged from Island to Island. Alternatively, Nana is running off on her own in her Campaign. The Story was drawn cute and you can't deny the Japanese Style. Everything is told about the few Pictures, which are unfortunately repeated often. But still, it's a nice Idea to tell the Story like that. Graphic/Sound Welcome to Retro Fever. The old-school Sight of the Game fits very well with the Gameplay and the Animations. The Game offers 4 different Sections, each with 4 Levels, all of which look unique and sometimes add new Elements. Musically, the Melody goes into the Ear well, with only two Soundtracks that struck me. One is the normal Melody, which simply accelerates further on the Way Back. But it's enough somewhere, after all. Conclusion "Tobe's Vertical Adventure" makes Indie-candy Shine a bit. It plays fluidly, the Story is told cute and you can relax while Playing. In Short, for the Price you get your Money's worth, as the Game is a small Indieperle. Vertically? For me, at least, it's steeply uphill. Well, at least the Number of my Reviews.
