Product received for free early access review Mosaique games developer and publisher of Tomb towers wanted to revive the old puzzle platformer game from our old MSX years. We control a young hero who becomes a Knight for a moment to save his Kingdom from the ugly necromancer who invades the world of a horde of skeletons and other monsters. Our hero then leaves to hunt this necromancer in different towers dotted with traps and puzzles of all kinds. On the graphic side, we are entitled to a pixelized world of the years 80, in different towers all also pixelized, but we will not dwell on the graphic aspect of the game, because it is not what makes a good or a bad game these days. Tomb towers proposes to browse several style of towers, with new elements added to the gameplay to Corser the traversing of them. From simple obstacle course to puzzle puzzles that will ask you a little concentration to find the solution, the game will make you live a hell. We stay on a basic grip, move forward, jump, push objects, or even use teleporters, you will not have much to use apart from your brain in this game that is really focused on puzzles and reflex. Your hero doesn't really know gravity, and once you jump, you stay in the air for a while, is this a willingness of the developer? very good question but sometimes it is beneficial to you, or otherwise everything will depend on the situation. All the towers have their atmospheres, and offer you some annoying chiptunes when you try to concentrate a little time, same for the sounds that are not at all a part of pleasure for our ears, despite that we love retro styles pixelized, the poorly realized 8-bit chiptunes are a pain in our ears. For the rest, Tomb towers offers a short lifespan, only 3 laps proposed, but a nightmare mode allows to relive the adventure in more difficult for those who like the challenges, but everything remains quite similar and simple. To conclude, Tomb towers revives us for the oldest of our good old games MSX and for the new ones, you will discover a puzzle game Plateformer of the 8bits era. Short duration, the game will occupy you a little time unfortunately, but will put you to the challenge if you want to unlock all the successes. Chiptunes are unpleasant and really spoil the game experience. But Mosaique games wanted to do the closest to the time, and for a first game, there is the idea, and it is hoped that for the next game a work on the music will be realized. Editor's Note: 5/10-too basic, annoying Chiptunes and too short.
