Trackmania Turbo reviews

Easy to pick up, hard to master. You easily come into Play purely and experience Success quickly. After licking blood, you soon realize: The Path to the Master is long but quite manageable. In addition to their own Development, Friends with whom you can compete provide a restless Motivation Boost. Those who don't know Trackmania may be deterred or confused by the Fact that you're not really going against each other. So You can't push anyone off the Slopes. It's just about achieving the best Time on the Track under identical Conditions-either simultaneously or each for themselves when they have Time and Desire right now. As with all Trackmania Games, the Focus is not on Realism but on Fun. But a playful Simulation also wants to be mastered. As always, you can also design your Own routes. However, there is no puzzle mode like in the first Part. Compared to its Predecessor, there is unfortunately a lack of Interesting Racing Modes such as Chase. In addition, Online Multiplayer Features seem to me to be quite stepmotherly installed. Nevertheless, the whole Game Surface seems much more neat and contemporary than with Trackmania ². All Trackmania ² environments are now reunited in one Game, which is the biggest Plus for me. Trackmania Turbo should always be available-for the small Race in between, for the multiplayer lap or for the Split-screen or Double-driver Race on the Sofa!

As an old Trackmania veteran, I wanted to give this Part a Chance-now that it was in the Steam sale for €11.99-and was unfortunately bitterly disappointed. I was aware that it is not like a Trackmania of Old when Buying It, as features such as Dedimania, Mod-Support & own Skins/paint schemes are no longer supported. But I wouldn't have thought that it was so negative for me: The driving Sensation has changed quite a bit when you compare it with the old Parts-I find the Controls generally a lot of spongy The Multiplayer is almost dead-which is not surprising, considering That Above features Are missing The solo campaign is fun, the Tracks are varied and there are the 4 known Modes: Canyon, Valley, Stadium & Lagoon-for me the only positive Point in the Game The UI is The pure Eye Cancer, no Idea who designed the Workshop for The design of Cars, etc. is extremely confusing and you have minimal Customization Options The Challenges that have been shared by Players are Quantity rather Than Quality-there are few Good Maps and the search/Filtering is a Disaster In the Overall Package and in the Sense of play, I hardly have a trackmania feeling. For the Content that is offered, £39.99 is really Usury! I will probably refound it, because even the €12 is too bad for me. Hopefully Ubisoft/Nadeo learns from it and we get a worthy Successor at some point.
