Train Sim World: CSX Heavy Haul reviews

I can't recommend Train Sim World at this time. First And foremost, the Graph is the Reason for this. Have a Core I7 @ 4.5GHz and a 1080 TI (!). Even with this Hardware, I reach with high Settings (HIGH, AA 130%) No 20 FPS on Parts of the Line (Cumberland). I don't get much of 35 FPS otherwise either, which is okay, but whether the computing Power available is quite ridiculous. Since I no longer allow Excuses to apply (a Sim is something other than a Shooter ... That's already absolutely clear to me). We all know what the Unreal Engine can do and we all know current Open World titles with really gigantic proportions and An insanely High number of Content and details. The 1080 TI does over 11TFlops and really ALL current Titles run on Ultra in 4K with at least 40-60 FPS (or more). No one needs me to come here with "long Distance" and "Depth of Simulation," which is absolutely no Excuse for the Performance. Quite honestly? If a GREAT WUNDER DOES not happen here, I cannot imagine how Routes á la Leipzig-Berlin with complex European Locomotives and Safety Systems should work. In addition, the Graphics of the TSW in the Area of the Rolling Material are really good, but on the (sorry) very boring Route drops off significantly in places. From 200 Metres Away everything gets fuzzy (probably due to the odd AA), I always feel like I have to put my Glasses on. Without AA, the Performance is minimally better, but it looks bad (animal Tled). As mentioned above, the Track is relatively monotonous and unmotivated on a large Part. There is a scenic Part and I have to admit that Landscapes generally come across in vastness and Character better than in TS. But that, as I said, is bought by horrendously poor Performance. Every smaller Village lets the Frames go down and Provides Dropouts and Rucklers. I can only repeat: Complex European Routes in the urban Environment are therefore absolutely unthinkable. Some playful Elements such as the operation of the Turntable, Refueling or even the detailed Implementation of the Locomotives I like well but for that a track/task editor is missing. And collect such Mumpitz as any Brim?? Or Rewards because I pressed a Switch? That comes with me very far behind when the basics fit. The highly acclaimed "Physics" is also strange. A heavy Train immediately departs unexpectedly, you can take massive Climbs with a frighteningly low Engine Power and then it can happen that Cars that you want to connect on the Track are suddenly invisible ... All of this makes a BETA impression on me. Even the Tutorials are a pure-Sorry-Decdge. Three different Locomotives are explained exactly identical and completely superficial. Functions such as Engine Start, which are supposed to set the TSW apart from TS2017, are not mentioned in the first place. All in all, TS2017 just looks better at the Moment. He runs rounder and with a quality Track and a VR locomotive I have a super Driving Experience. I don't need to do this funny, blurry Scucker in the American Hinterland ... For all the Enthusiasm for the Rolling Stock itself and for some of the chic functions (Turntable, Refueling)-the negative Outweighs for me, namely the Feeling that here something is fundamentally wrong with the Engine. And that is not a good thing, after all, we actually want to lay a new Foundation stone here. I have Doubts at Dovetail as to Whether the will ever patch this sensibly. Too bad the Thing would have had Potential. The Approaches would be perfectly okay. PS: Because many people write here that the TSW is going well on their "mediocre" system and that People with very expensive Systems like to be presented as "too stupid to optimize their Computer": The Point is simple that TSW runs equally badly on all Computers, the Hardware hardly seems to play a Role in this. On medium-sized Systems, of course, this simply does not stand out. http://steamcommunity.com/app/530070/discussions/0/133259956008506451/
