About
This is a turn-based deck-building RPG. Balance energy and damage while navigating the synergistic monster traits. How far can you go before you die?
The monster stats work like this:

Alert: monster takes reduced damage from detonate and damage-all cards

Betray: Attacks a random monster on its own team as well as the player each turn

Block: Reduces damage from direct attacks (damage on the card, but not damage-all cards)

Bypass: deals damage as if the player had less block, skipping some of the damage reduction

Drain: attacks steal health

Detonate: upon death the monster deals explosive damage to all monsters and the player

Enrage: every time the monster is directly struck, enrage count goes up and deal more damage

Padding: reduces retributive damage taken from the player’s thorns attribute

Venom: poisons the player for stacking damage every turn unless cured

Resist: reduces poison applied to the monster from player poison cards

Treat: reduces poison counter on a monster on the team every turn

Thorns: when the player directly strikes a thorns monster, the player takes damage

Thick: reduces duration of stun applied by stun cards
14
Frenzy: until they die (or in stun) the rampage count and damage goes up every turn

Summoner: calls random monster into battle every turn until dead or stunned
16
Heals: heals a monster on the team unless stunned
17
Stunned: the monster can take no action except incurring poison damage and deal thorns damage

Poisoned: The monster suffers damage every turn until treated or dead
