True Fear: Forsaken Souls reviews

"True Fear" is the best hidden objects game I've ever played. The Atmosphere of the Game is very sombre and really creepy. What I particularly like is that it's a real Horror Game and not like most hidden object _ games settles in The Mystery Realm. Not really something for the Faint-hearted. ^^ The Production is bombastic and so far the most elaborate thing I've seen in this Genre. Rendered Video Footage tells the Story and Jesus! They really already have the Quality of a good Horror Movie! The Puzzles are relatively typical, with the Hidden Obmills to be in themselves much more imaginative than with other Genre representatives, because you don't always get a List of Objects that you simply have to find, but often interactive small Tasks Need to get on with it to progress. The Soundscape is consistently creepy, both Music and Sound Effects, which completes the vivid Atmosphere. The Controller Control is very intuitive and doesn't seem as bulky as I expected (I played the Game with Mouse at the time). Interactions with Inventory Objects are placed on X, while you can easily switch through the Inventory Objects with RB and LB without having to move the Cursor to the Inventory again and again. Super implemented. All Inputs are visualized and, as already mentioned, very intuitive. So despite the slower Cursor, it's Fun if you just want to sit back to enjoy the Game. If you like hidden object games, you should definitely have access. But even Point & Click Adventure Fans can confidently access if you're onto neat horror! Top Title in his Genre!!

True Fear Is a nice, shallow Puzzle game That, like the Games of Artifex Mundi, is a little reminiscent of a Cleaning Simulator. You play a Woman who finds important Things by cleaning up other People's Rumbles and sorting Stuff. The Fun of many of the Puzzles in this Game lies in the nonsense of the Plot. Some Solutions you simply cannot get through logical Thinking, but can only try out by blunt. This does not apply to all Puzzles, but for some Tasks, the solution path and resulting Result are worth a Laugh. For Example (SPOILER) a hot Cooking pot Has to be pulled Out of the Oven, you need gloves, then you need a Creation Trowel to fish out in the boiling Water and what is now boiling in the Pot that wants to be found? Right! Steel Nails!! Or in a hidden Secret Box with a puzzle lock, you'll find a Tap. I also occasionally build Secret boxes to hide 3 Euros of Items in it. Another personal Highlight was the Spot where you had to paint a knight's picture in completely incongruous, cheesy colorful colors for it to fall down, break and be repaired with the Nails from the Head Toch. Personally, I actually laughed more at the Game than I feared, True Fear Is as creepy as the annual Heating bill. Only the Sound Creates a light Cheating Atmosphere. The hard To follow action makes you feel Good and is partly reminiscent of Monty Python, which is Why I recommend the Game. Any Person who likes to play the Games of the Artifex Mundi Series will not be disappointed at True Fear. PRO: It's entertaining and offers many different Puzzles. CONTRA: The Plot is so outlandish that you get Concern for the Writers Team.
