Escape the garden. no matter how many tries it takes - Move from area to area, pick up upgrades and beat dangerous bosses in this single-player rougelike. Expand your turf before the enemy does or risk being stranded without ammo. Can you make it all the way without dying?


The garden is a dangerous place, where everything from bees and spiders to pondlurkers and flying beasts are out to get you. But follow these 3 tips and you might have a chance to survive:

• Remain on your turf and avoid enemy turf at all costs
  
• Snails are slow, so take your time and plan your moves. “One slimeball to their face is better than two lost in the bush” as the old slug-saying goes
  
• To make it all the way you need good gear, so think carefully about the upgrade paths you choose after clearing each area

Knowing and using the right slime type will be the difference between easily sliding down the garden or drying out. There are many types to find on your journey, but here are some:

• Grey - Unclaimed territory that slows you down slightly and stops weapons recharging
  
• Yellow - Home turf that makes you fast AND recharges weapons
  
• Green - Home turf that makes you EVEN FASTER and let's you zoom past your enemies
  
• Red - Enemy turf that slows you down massively. Avoid at all cost
  
• Black - Enemy turf that... well, let's not speak about that. You will find out

This is where the fun begins. The garden provides a huge selection of creative weapons and wacky tools. Each item can be upgraded in multiple ways, and new slime effects can applied as you get further in each run. There are thousands of combinations to try. Just choose your starting gear and head out. After clearing each area you will be provided with a choice of rewards, or you might just feel lucky and spin the upgrade wheel. You can also find coins to use for in-run upgrades or gems to be used for unlocking new starting weapons and permanent upgrades.

• Don't worry if you have problems differentiating between colors, Turf Wars provides a full colorblind mode using shapes to display slime types. Just go to settings and turn it on.
  
• A controller is recommended to get maximum precision but the game fully supports both controllers and keyboard
