I received a beta key for Turn-over From ' Long Division LLC ' to test the Game and, if necessary, write a Review of it.
I do that with the Review at this Moment and since I write my Reviews "Live" While I start the game and play I thank the Developer cordially at this Point for the Key – who knows if I would still say thank You afterwards;)
Game Principle: Turnover is about getting from Floor to Floor alive. This sounds pretty easy at first, but in Places it's dead Heavy!
Opponents the Patilliers, Cameras that betray us, Dogs that bite us to Death, Garbage and the like on the Ground, which makes extreme Noise when it occurs ... A lot of Ways to get caught, so a Stealth Game of a slightly different Kind.
First Start At the first Start, coarse-pixelated Images tell the Story that is all about. Since everything is in English, the Lyrics sometimes pass too quickly and I quickly lost the Thread, I just skipped the Introduction and find myself in the Main Menu.
My Attempts to navigate the Mouse fail to navigate through Menus – here is controlled with the Keyboard.
The Settings are simple – I leave everything to Standard because it seems to me the most sensible – and navigate to "new" to start a new Game.
Immediately after the Start, a Sequence Appears again, this time an Interview with a Woman. This Sequence, too, is extremely long and a lot of Text ... And is skipped.
Now I find myself in the first Level.
But no one tells me how to do it ... What shall I do?
I start running and realize that I am in a Building in the Corpse lying around and seemingly some Hostages are sitting around. With WASD control, I walk around and am unceremoniously seen by a Villain and shot instently!
I try to walk around a few more times at a Rapid Pace, but this does not succeed. I keep getting seen and eliminated. So I set about trying the whole thing with a little Tactics and sneak around and thus escape the glances of the Killers.
Conclusion – First Start: The Introduction (Intro) is quite long and for me relatively difficult to read and understand in the short Time, although I can actually speak and read English quite well. Then, immediately after the Introduction, comes the Interview, which I clicked away relatively quickly, because here the same Problem arises as with the Introduction.
Then I was thrown right into Play and have to find out what to do without a Tutorial and without Hints (maybe it's easier to get in if the Story is understood). Moving is quite easy to learn, and the Basic Principle despite a lack of Tutorial is also, so there is a small Deduction for Getting started in the Game.
Difficulty The Game is to make it short, Dead weight!
Executed a Little longer, it's still hard, but why?
Turnover Is all about finding the right Timing between multiple Actions to get through the Level undetected.
-After Actions such as Shutting Down cameras via PC terminals, all nearby Enemies storm towards you and you have to find a Hiding Place at lightning speed.
-Once alarmed, the Guards are on heightened Alert-dogs are already weathering from afar and growling, besides, these Suction fast The Game forgives no Mistake! A wrong Move and we're dead ... And over and over again!
Then we come to an IT specialist to take to a Desk. This must be guided Step by Step through the Level, whereby a tiny Error also brings death to the Spezi, which is also our Undoing – He has to survive!
It happens again and again in the first Levels that we make a long Progress, die and start everything all over again.
Verdict after the first Rage-quit Chei * * fucking, le * * me at The Ar * * *!!!!
Conclusion after I have calmed down: Turnover is a stealth game with extreme Difficulty, but it goes more extreme to NOCH if you dare to play the Hardmode.
It seems simple, but from one moment to the other The Mood is tipped because you have been caught again.
All in all, however, I Still catch Repeating the Levels, even if I have already failed 10 times. Either I'm ambitious, or the Game just manages to tie me to it.
I give Turnovers 3.5 out Of 5 Points and recommend it to all those who like Retro Games and Stealth games and don't enjoy too delicately when it comes to the Level of difficulty.
