Kind of a shame how this one turned out. It's clearly trying to ape Paper Mario, but it falls on its face a bit. It's trying to bridge the gap between the first two Paper Marios and Super Paper Mario, but the lack of variety in combat and the cry for help that is the boss encounters show why that gap was never bridged to begin with. The platforming is lackluster, the dungeons are boring and sprawling, and the story is too self-aware for its own good. If you're really itching for another Paper Mario, there are better alternatives than this.

I thought the demo showed a good game, but it´s much better than what I was expecting. Although this game has things that can improve, all the other things are awesome. It has good sense of humor, gives you a feeling of improvement all the time, the combat system is genious and goes with the music and all characters feel real in their own worlds and it has a lot of secrets. And, the music is wonderful. I´d give this game a Tem out of Tem, because everything just feels alive.

I don't write any Reviews in any time, but this Game has more than just deserved it. I already knew the Game itself from the Demo that really appealed to me, but when it finally came out, I was more than positively surprised. In itself, Underhero is a typical Indie Game that should not be confused with Unertale. A beautiful pixel Graphics, very beautiful Music, a well-told Story that is Fun and of course also varied Gameplay. All in all, I would recommend to any of the Indie Games and general Genres like Adventure Or RPG Games UNderhero. 8.95/10 a very surprising and meta plot twist.

The game is a great gem, do not get carried away by that "Under" because it has nothing to do with games with Under in his name ahem.. Ahem... Undertale ahem... Ahem...
