MILD SPOILERS ahead:
- If you get tired of having to keep the interact button pressed all the time to harvest, look closer around the first tombstone...
- There is an ending, but it's not that spectacular, so feel free to leave before reaching it. To get there, you may want to leave the game running like a true idle game and just occasionally check in to upgrade your helpers. At some point, you should probably upgrade your player and try to remove the rest of the grass manually (the helpers are not the smartest)
I see quite a bit of potential for this game and thus plan on developing it further with a post-jam (and possibly someday commercial) version. Your feedback is much appreciated to support me in this direction! Here's what I have planned for that:
- more mechanics like survival elements, controlling helpers, rain, combat against wildlife, multiple resources, artifically regrowing nature, more upgrades etc.
- create my own music, visuals and sounds for the game
- a bigger and more varied world full of things to be explored (possibly randomly generated)
- "smaller" stuff like different endings, a proper menu, general polish etc.
