A good and easy-to-learn WW2 strategy game. However, the Level of difficulty in this turn-based Game is sometimes quite high.

Alright, so first off I was a little disappointed because of how hard it is to get into the game, but I quickly found out the mechanics and it hands down became my favorite strategy game of all time. So the fact that its turn based gives you the advantage to be able to think certain parts of your "defense/offense" through whilst then batteling quiet effectively before getting into any relevant action and possibly losing. I also quickly fell in love with this game because of its amazing style and historically based campaign system, that actually is very accurate to the real historical events from the periods of the second world war. Thats what makes this game enjoyable for me, since im a very big history fan (I also come from Germany and its fun to own the russians xD) that slightly intensified my experience as well, but even dough you might not be the most historical person , this game might still be for you! The only bad thing dough is that the game slightly lacks on variation, but that quickly gets eliminated with the several different strategic aproaches that you can use.
My ratings:
Graphics = 9/10
Gameplay = 8/10
Music/Soundtrack = 10/10

Very, very difficult.
I love round strategy and have really played a lot of turn-based games.
The Game is pretty good in itself (especially for the Price). It's extremely easy to understand, but difficult to master. Fits.
Only the Balancing is complete for ' n A ...
With the German stalingrad Campaign, for example, it plays crisp but feasible. Good so. Until the Stalingrad Scenario, which cannot be achieved with the specified Resources. So, what to do? The only Option would be to play the entire Campaign from the front again and thus save Resourcean.
Which in turn is difficult to make because the Scenarios before, as mentioned, are already, to a large Extent, quite demanding.
Ok, good. Then the Russian Campaign tasted. I threw in the towel in the 3rd or 4th scenario. Why?
Well, the russiche Side has many standard infantry units, the German Opposite Side has fewer units, but these Veterans.
Now the AI really isn't stupid and sits down a needed victory point with a Veteran Tank Unit Uaf and digs in. I have nothing, really nothing in the Repertoire that this unit could even scratch-> Game ran.
The AI may not always react like this and it also pleasingly leaves you a Chance, but that doesn't make sense.
Too bad actually.
