It's true that vampires can't cross running water, but can they cross running blood? Luckily you ate fifteen cloves of garlic for dinner, so the vampires attacking the town won't hurt you, but if they get to your family, it's all over! Lay down trails of blood with SPACEBAR to block their path, and force them into one of three doors:

The Red Door grinds them into paste, fuel for more of your blood to spill.
The Yellow Door throws them on the fire, gaining you honor and prestige. [points]
The Blue Door protects your family. If a vampire touches it, someone dies. [you lose a life]
