This was a project I worked on to get a general feel for the creation of a survival-based game.  The idea was for the player to have a health bar, stamina bar, hunger bar, hydration bar and an oxygen meter that is only activated when in water.  If hunger or hydration reaches 0 the player receives damage.  If the oxygen bar reaches below 0 and the player is in the water the player will receive damage. I also set up a few items pickups such as ammo, health, food, water and oxygen and added sound to complement these assets on pickup and the bar associated count will be replenished.  I learned a lot working on this project and really the process of putting it all together.  The project was made in Unity.  I found the scripting the most challenging especially in regards to the oxygen meter only operating in the water and meeting the required conditions.  Inspiration was from games like DayZ, Scum, Subnautica and Dead Poly.
