An absolutely dumb game made in 48 hours for the Global Game Jam 2023

This is a game about a rat that needs to collect plants and plant them at the right place to make their fruits grow, in order to build a road with them

But for some reason, the plants don't like being taken out of the ground, and they will scream at you after a short time

Your goal is to grow the road by 30 tiles in the shortest amount of time possible

LEFT/RIGHT: Move

UP: Take a plant out of the ground

DOWN: Plant a plant/grow the road when at the end of the road

F: Toggle fullscreen

ESCAPE: Quit

Each plant has its own unique effect, you can try to guess it or get spoiled here:

The wrath plant (red) will reduce the progression of nearby plants, and will get a progression boost when a plant spawns next to it

The envy plant (orange) will grow faster if there is a plant next to it that has a higher progression

The lust plant (purple) will clone the plants next to it when it finishes growing

The sloth plant (grey) will grow faster if there's no plant next to it

The greed plant (yellow) will add a progression boost to all plants (except the greed plants) when used to grow the road

The gluttony plant (green) will steal the progression of plants next to it

The pride plant (blue) will grow faster if there is a plant next to it that has a lower progression
