Urban Rivals reviews

Okay, here's what to say about Urban Rivals: Urban Rivals is a trading Card Online game, where you put your deck together and fight in small +/- 5 minute Matches against each other. Every Card belongs to a Clan and there are many, many clans in this game, while about once per year, a new clan gets released. I will explain the Gameplay first and after that i'll count every pro and con of this game and give a short explanation. Don't be fooled by my Ingame time, i started playing this game 7 years ago. The Gameplay: You have a Deck with at least 8 Cards in it. When you start a match, 4 of those cards will be randomly chosen, those are the cards you'll use in the fight. Every Card/Character has their own Level, you can level your cards up by gaining experience for them, which you get by fighting. Also every Character has two values: Power and Damage. The Power value shows how strong your Character is in fighting other characters, while the Damage shows, how much damage the Character will deal against another player, if he wins the fight. You also start every normal match with 12 Hitpoints and 12 "Pillz". You can use those Pillz to increase a characters Attack Value, the Attack Value starts with the Power of a character and every Pillz will add the Power value to that. So for example: Your Character has 5 Power. This means his Attack Value is also 5. If you use 3 Pillz, your Character will gain 3x5 Attack, so your Attack Value is 20. Also almost every Character has a Skill and a Clan Bonus. The Skill is usually unlocked, when the Character reaches it's final Level Up, those Skills can have many different effects, they can Heal you, Poison your enemy, Decrease or increase stats etc. The Clan Bonus is activated when you have at least two characters of the same clan on your hand. The effect depends on the Clan, some are better, some worse. The Match is over if everyone played their whole hand (so after 4 rounds) in this case the player with more HP wins, or if one of the players HP reach 0. Outside of the Matches, you can buy Cards for Clintz from other Players on the Market, or buy booster Packs for credits. Credits are the buyable currency, but there are many other ways to get them for example play tournaments. I heard people complaining about the game being pay2win, but you can easily get a more than decent Deck without paying a cent. Also there are Missions where you can get Cards, Credits and Clintz. The only disadvantage you can have is at the beginning, if people bought boosters but even that is rare. Pros: - A huge variety of Cards - Many Clans (28 Clans and theres one new one every year) - No Pay2Win - Overall Friendly community - Charming - Easy to Understand Cons: - Many of the older Cards are much to weak - Steam/Desktop Version are 1:1 the same as the Smartphone Ver sions - Can get really grindy - Can be hard/frustrating at the beginning Overall you can say that UR is a easy to learn TCG which is nice to play once in a while, but there is one thing i want to say: Play it in the Browser , do not play the Steam or Desktop Version, because the UI there is terrible

I started playing the game in 2012 and it is a game that I like so much for how simple it is really, although it has many skills and bonuses you have to learn to play fluently, I personally think it's a juegazo. The only thing that would change as soon as the design of the page and the size of the letter (you see with difficulty sometimes), I liked more 4 years ago. For me four years ago I was in his best time. I would reconsider changing what is all the design and making it from 0, more intuitive. Otherwise the game still works well.

I had to create my first account on UR 4-5 years ago, since then I went back and forth on the game 1 month every 6-7 months or so. I've always found this amazing game whether it's in the cards, clans or even at the level of the fights but I can no longer resolve to play again.. Indeed, the ergonomics and aesthetics of the app is really to be reviewed, managing its cards has become tedious and the overall aspect of the application is I find it somewhat enjoyable. Hoping to have an update correcting these little flaws causing harm to a great game! Hello dear player! The bugs were just eradicated (for the most part!) and the ergonomics completely reviewed. We invite you to give us a return on the latest version if possible! Thanks for the support in any case and good game!

Great game! The maps are great, the clans are interesting. Very strategic combat system. Big good point for a card game. BUT already the app is awful. Graphically it's very repellent and in terms of performance it's not that at all especially when it comes to managing his cards. Then no balancing so the new players confront players of several years with all the cards. Why not try to get people to matcher with a collection in roughly similar%. Because I think that at the moment it puts the new ones out of the process without being able to do anything. Apart from the two bad points stated and that destroy the game experience in the long run, BA this is a great game. Hello dear player!
