URUZ "Return of The Er Kishi"

Concept

The Aim of “Uruz: Return of the Er kishi” is to produce an enjoyable game play, witnessing a fascinating story, together with the high quality state-of-art animated pixel graphics and smooth game play mechanics.

Story

Epic storyline is inspired from a saga, which is titled “How Prince Uruz,Son of Kazan Bey(Landlord), was taken as a prisoner”, from ancient Turkish storybook named The Book Of Dede Qorqut which is the most famous among the epic stories of the heroic age of the Oghuz Turks. The stories carry morals and significant values of the social lifestyle of the nomadic Turkic people and their pre-Islamic beliefs. In the “Book of Dede Qorqut”, the tale tells how Salur Kazan realized that his son Uruz had never seen a battle until being in captivity, how Kazan and Uruz were attacked by the bandits while on a hunt; how Uruz entered the fight and was taken captive; how Lady Burla reacted when she have learned her son was in danger; how Kazan tracked down the bandits; and how Uruz begged him to flee, and how Lady Burla and Kazan's men arrived and helped Kazan to rescue Uruz. This story mentions some bandit kings, but in our game only one of them is chosen. His name is “Kara Tekfur” and he is one of the main antagonists. His castle was burnt down after the battle and he was released free by Oghuzs. In the game, our story starts 4 years after, when Uruz grow up an adult, and Kara Tefkur as a misarable man, spends his time in dark corners of inns. Once upon a night, he meets a stranger who wears a dark robe, who makes him a promise to recover his power again. In return, Kara Tekfur has to become this stranger man’s companion on a dangerous journey. Kara Tekfur accepts the offer, and then together they make a long journey up to the frozen lands of the north. At this place, they find a cave where a magic talisman holds the gate to the underworld, the “tamu”. They shatter this talisman and allow the underworld creatures to roam freely on the land (in the upper world). From here, our story has begun...
