Product received for free Was the 2016 when, at the dawn of the commercial VR, Owlchemy Labs made its entry into the homes of the first owners of a headset with Job Simulator (here the review), a simulator of "human work" seen with the eyes of a civil Futuristic. The immediate approach, the biting irony and a satirical subtext transformed Owlchemy Labs ' debut into an extraordinary success, which ended up becoming one of the basic titles of the first generation of headset. Three years later many things have changed: The VR has evolved, the audience's taste has shifted to more complex experiences and the Austin Software house has been acquired by Google. Before We started the new work of the American studio I had a doubt: a title like Job Simulator still makes sense in the contemporary VR market? The response is absolutely positive. Vacation Simulator is the direct continuation of the previous title of Owlchemy Labs, arrived a couple of years away from the second release of the American Studio: Rick & Morty: Virtual Rickality, funny title but slightly out of focus compared to their title of onset. Vacation Simulator takes the best of the two aforementioned titles and returns to the players a tasty cocktail full of ideas and activities, in which the interaction with the scenario remains the cornerstone of the experience. The first thing that we notice is that, contrary to Job Simulator, in the world of Vacation Simulator you can move from one point to another. If in the first chapter we had to use only the perimeter of our room, here is resumed the effective system of movement to nodes seen in the title dedicated to Rick & Morty. Aiming at the position that we want to achieve, just press a button on the controller to find exactly at that point, allowing us to do a fast back and forth between the levels and respecting our pace of play.
