Tanks of the Afternoon, Silence and Respite, and Snap, You’re Caught! are three investigations into systems alternate media technologies, addressing the binary between personal/public information. The games often have limited playability letting the user experience the games as a spectator more than a player. In Tanks of the Afternoon, all user interaction is removed and replaced with cinematic vision. A slow pan of the scene allows the user to observe all the small details of the environment. In Silence and Respite, the player is thrown into chaos, unable to escape the radio transmissions, unable to differentiate noise and information. In Snap, You’re Caught! the player has a choice between an active or a passive role.
