VERDURE is an odd generator of plants and trees! It is a creative sandbox where you can trim branches and experiment with growth controls.

There is no story or strict objective. VERDURE provides a space for open-ended plant design, whether shaping a small bonsai tree, letting maple branches sprawl freely, or exploring how different settings affect them.

Each plant is generated from a unique recipe that can be customized through more than 20 parameters, including trunk length, branch thickness, foliage density, and color palettes. You can:

Start from a random seed or design your own
Trim and prune branches, or let them grow naturally
Edit combinations of backgrounds, foregrounds, and pots in an instant to suit your composition
Adjust the overall growth speed and hide the interface for a more immersive experience
Maintain a collection of personal favorites across 50+ save slots, with indicative names like ‘Cactus,’ ‘Pine,’ or ‘Sakura’

Decor elements and reactive sounds help establish the game’s surreal atmosphere. Each scene blends simple ASCII-inspired retro designs with modern effects to produce a dreamlike environment for your plants to grow. VERDURE does not aim for realistic plant behavior, but rather a stylized interpretation that emphasizes mood and expression.

VERDURE can be enjoyed equally in short, fidget-friendly sessions or over longer periods to gradually expand your collection and refine each plant’s design.
