After Now 39std of Play, I would now like to go to a Review.
Many others have already thought off many Areas and especially Comparisons that are present with Diablo or similar games, which is why I don't want to list them here again in this Way.
Yes the Game is very reminiscent of Diablo but why?! Well... Hack 'n 'Slay is not Diablo! Everyone always pretends that Diablo is the Forefather and the only legitimate Game that this Genre involves, but I don't see it that way. You can't completely redevelop a Genre, so it's obviously very understandable that sicsh games are the same. In my Eyes, you'd also rather copy well rather than produce poorly yourself (You Shadow of Mordor: It's HdR sharing with the Game style of AC and the Batman: Arkaham. It's wonderfully implemented and therefore the Game is great) So I want to give this Game a thumbs up here as it makes wirklcih a lot right. There is good Loott, which makes fun to grin. The Levels are beautifully Designed and thanks to the Challenges, it's not just the actual Quest That Motivates you to fully uncover the Map!
The Game is very simple and therefore (like many other Hack ' n ' Slay games) can be used very comfortably for incidentally. So If you see a Stream or watch Series, sit in the Discord with other Straight and skyped and just need a Game where you don't have to be great: Bitteschön Vikings or Every other Hack ' n ' Slay Is made for you:D
The Story: Yes I admit to it is a bit flat BUT you look at Diablo3 ... Personally, I found the Story of this great Genre representative not so much more abstract than the Story of Vikings. Furthermore, anyone Who argues that the Story is exaggerated must clearly deny that one would like to deal with the Legend Of the Vikings. Here there are several Gods who intervene directly in the Life of the Warriors and lend them their Power. Furthermore, I feel the Story about Grimnir, who wants to hollow the Omnipotence in order to evoke Ragnarök, told Very pleasantly and beautifully represented. For People who are familiar with Nordic Mythology, I find this Story very exciting and you can also Enjoy getting involved in it. However, the Story itself does not have a high Replay Value, as you know it once you have played it.
The Game itself is very liniear knitted and also offers Storytelling no great possibilities to change anything. It's clearly structured that we're the Hero who has to hold it all up in the End. So there is no possibility to say: "Nö I have no Desire I make me a Chilligen in my Village now and that is what it has become." But please ... Take a look at other Genre Representatives. Since isses no better either. "Oh no the Devil is on earth we have to stop him and only YOU can do that" * Just saying * All in all I can unfortunately not understand the Negative Criticism of the Game, because you realize that the Developers have given themselves a lot and also love a lot in the De Have flowing in tail. For me, it is clearly a Buy recommendation Especially if you are more likely to be into Games, which you can play (as mentioned above) well for by the way. In addition, it is very Motivating for me as a Collector, on the one hand, to unlock the Steam Achievements and, on the other hand, to complete the Mini-challenges, such as Hunting Missions or Testing of the Gods, in order to test myself and my Abilities.
Clearly a good Game (in my Eyes):)
