As the title says, I'm playing resistance mode and one of my operatives was shot dead however he is only showing as injured and not dead. I was under the assumption that death was permadeath in resistance mode.
Started my run in Resistance mode and I had an idea for this run to save my prestige operatives for later on in the game after I get some upgrades. Mind you I've spent like 5 hours to doing random shit finding documents buying clothes etc. I start this mission to recruit the construction worker that i don't even fucking need because I have Wrench, but it's a tutorial so it forces me. I drop the crate off for the AR simulation shit and the game AUTO switches me to none other than Aiden fucking Pearce. I thought I was in good hands but I forgot I didn't even get far enough to change his load out because he wasn't even being used.Thought everything would be cool and start the mission. It's at the very end. Albion comes in from all directions and I'm doing fine but that revolver that Aiden has is complete shit so I'm reloading every 3 seconds while getting sprayed. Eventually some dude spawns out of nowhere from behind. By the time I saw him on my radar it was done. Aiden Pearce dead. Died like a bitch because I had no upgrades yet. It was just so dumb man. I deleted the save immediately out of disappointment. It's really the major waste of time that fucks me up but also I had some really cool good looking operatives off rip and now it's all went to shit. It almost kinda spoiled the experience enough that I don't know if I want to try again. Like if I start a new game I will just be plagued by the memories of having a really good save going. I liked my characters and the game just totally fucked me.
Life of a Fighter
Normally if you retire an operative they will still walk around able to be recruited at another time. Does the work for say Aiden and Wrench?
