Wayward Flame

Solo project made during the two-day 2021 GMTK Game Jam ("Joined Together"). You are a fire spirit that can split yourself into three fragments to traverse obstacles and enemies.

UPDATES

• Doors appear to be broken in the browser version (they won't take you to the next level after a puzzle is solved/your fragments will remain stuck to their respective shrines). 
• However, you can still reach a success state in each level by changing two shrine indicators from yellow to blue. 
• For now, please refresh the page after completing a level's puzzle to select different levels.

GAMEPLAY

You control all your fragments simultaneously, and must position them on the correct shrines to advance. Your health is determined by how split up you are, and you can only solve puzzles while fragmented. However, if you reveal the hidden door in each level, you cannot advance through it until you reassemble yourself completely.
