What Lurks Beneath

On a dark stormy night, a small child tries to fall asleep when they feel an ominously coloured glow coming from below their bedframe. The child gathers courage and crawls under their bed to find What Lurks Beneath! 

What Lurks Beneath is a two-player co-op 3D puzzle game with light platforming. Appropriate for younger audiences, the game is playable on a keyboard and controller, or a combination of both, and features simple movement plus two button controls.

The game has the players take on the role of either a small child lost in a fantastical fungal world or a big, burly monster with a heart of gold trying to help the child back home. Together, the new friends will have to leverage their individual strengths and abilities and collaborate in order to traverse an ominous and confusing world.

Use the child’s smaller size or their bigger double jump to reach places the monster can’t. In turn the monster can use their greater weight on scales and switches or use their impressive strength to clear a path by shattering boulders!
