Pepito the cave crawler is stuck in an endless loop of fighting through caves and collecting treasure.

This game inspired by the likes of Binding of Issac is a procedurally generated rogue like game where there is no end. The game constantly generates new levels and constantly adds new challenges for the player. 

Constraints: 

This project was to be made in 3 weeks, using Gamemaker Studio 2

Team Roles:

Patrick Vasile(Team Lead): Programmer (Procedural Generation, Loot System, Weapons and Stats, Enemy Types and AI behaviours. Was also responsible for the merge and delivery of project.

Vincent Charland: Programmer(Avatar & Stats)

Coralie Boucheraud: Programmer & UI (Menus, Doors, Key and Chests)

Alexandre Brunet: Programmer & UI (Signs and Feedback, Camera, Save and Load system)

Challenges we faced as a team:

With each of us having a different skill level in terms of programming, we had to quickly adapt to each others work style. There were moments where the team would start getting discouraged about the work, so as the team leader I made sure to motivate them and help them when things were not going correctly.
