Wild Island Quest reviews and comments

Wild Island Quest "Wild Island Quest" is a Visual Novel. The Game contains a lot of Text and some rendered Shrine shots. In the Course of the Game, you have the Opportunity to make Decisions several times. First of all-it is hard for this Game to make a Decision whether or not to recommend the Game. Most Reviews already show quite clearly the advantages and Disadvantages. I want to get a bit out to explain why I'm giving a Thumbs up after all. Simply put, the Basic Idea of the Game is good and you get offered a good 20-30 minutes of Story on the first Play (which is perfectly okay with a Sale). The Game Mechanics The Story of "Wild Island Quest" is about a World of flying Islands. The Game, however, focuses only on the "Wild Island" Mentioned in the Title. As the Game progresses, you can choose between different Actions at certain Times. However, when Playing Through again, you always go through situations that are repeated regardless of the Decision. Right at the Beginning, you also throw a Cube that is used for happy-based Events. Unfortunately, their Number is really very small. The Decisions are also always kept in style: "If you dice 10 Points along with your first Throw, XYZ happens." There are also some Storybranches where a Character dies, the Story then ends directly. After all, there is a small Explanation of what went wrong. Luckily, there are Checkpoints, so you don't have to restart the Game. The Motivational Curve At the first Decision points, one is still very pleased about the high Number of Possibilities for Action. Unfortunately, in the course Of the game, their Number and Variety is drastically reduced. This is due to the fact that the Developers have decided to install fixed Story Elements. These Story Elements occur every time the Game runs and are necessary for the Story to come to a Happy Ending. Nevertheless, of course, you're delighted when you've played through the game successfully for the first Time. Through the Checkpoints and the various Possibilities For action, there is also an Incentive to complete the Game again. So at first you are curious about what if you had chosen "XYZ" AT that Point. Unfortunately, this is sometimes very sobering, since one was either lucky that one had chosen the Decision, where the character does not die or because 2 Text Screens later You get back out of the same Storytext, where you can already Was. There are different Characters in the Game, but their Influence on the Game is very small. For example, when you're out with two more Characters, it's also very common that you're just one of the additional Characters in the Picture. Summary The Visual Novel "Wild Island Quest" has a few good Approaches to telling the Story. Unfortunately, the Fun of The game suffers greatly from the design Decision of the Developers That fixed Story Elements occur again and again. But it is also noticeable that the Developers want to tell a beautiful Story and it is a very early Project of the Developers. However, in the same Style, there are also some free Games that offer a greater depth of Action. If you like the Genre, you can still access when the Game is in the Sale. I myself could not decide to buy the Game until the third Attempt. At The end of the day, it was crucial to me that with "The Adventurous Four," there is a Successor in which the same Characters appear. I simply hope that the Mistakes from disem part in the Sequel will not be repeated. (If so, there is, of course, an Update from this Review.)
