‘Without Aid’ reveals how difficult it can be to live in extreme poverty, a daily reality for over 700 million people in the world, and the enormous impact that a small amount of aid can have to.

‘Without Aid’ puts players in the shoes of a family in extreme poverty, revealing how difficult it can be to survive on less than $2 per day – a reality for over 700 million people living in extreme poverty. Players must make increasingly difficult decisions as they allocate their limited resources.

However, players eventually receive a small but unexpected package of aid - enough to turn the tables around and allow the player to build their way out of extreme poverty. Upon reaching the end of the game, their new-found compassion may lead them to take real action...

For the first time in twenty years, extreme poverty is on the rise*. For this reason it is more important than ever for us to raise awareness of extreme poverty and encourage people to contribute as cost-effectively as possible.
