Defend the central portal connecting the elemental underworld to your peaceful magical town. You're the last line of defense that now separates the two intertwined worlds. You discovered that each elemental creature can only be affected by the same element spell that you have.  Seems weird right? Last as long as you can till the very last wave!

Death is only the beginning

Most games usually apply the theme to the player, but not here. The enemy is the one that needs to pass over to your world to start the beginning of their journey, Your job is to keep them from passing, and say "you shall not pass" or something along those lines.
