Wizrogue - Labyrinth of Wizardry reviews

The game could have been much more than what he presents to us. The Dungeon crawler part could also have been more exciting and better-ruined. But, without great explanation, I find this game great! We want to set up his team and grind nicely. Obviously, we feel that in the end we will keep little memory of our game sessions, but there is a little something going on. On the other hand, not having kept me informed of the change of mood of the Asian version wizardry compared to the originals, I was a little disappointed not to find the classic breeds. I would have gladly got a draw with a felpurr or a Mook, but good, too little asceptised for the Japanese/Chinese/Korean market can be. It doesn't remove his other qualities.

The gameplay formula present does not stray away from the standards created by the previous roguelike titles. The core of the experience is constituted by exploration of randomly generated mazes, facing more and more dangerous enemies and avoiding the traps waiting for us everywhere. The player meets different characters that can join them – this way; one gathers a team of fearless adventurers. It is worth noticing that the labyrinths are filled with useful items the player can modify to their liking. Experience points gained alongside progression allow the player to develop the characters they lead to battle. Fighting the adversaries in Wizrogue: Labyrinth of Wizardry is an important part of the game. Combat is turn-based here and fighting takes place on a tactical map. Distributing particular crewmembers adequately and executing an appropriate strategy are both crucial for success. Importantly, death is pernament here, so taking actions one has not thought through can quickly lead to the player losing an important character. In such a situation, there is no choice but to begin the adventure from the start.

Wizrogue is a fun game to play if you enjoy working hard to improve your characters and enjoy challenges. It carries a Wizardry heritage and adds concepts from other games to it. What it keeps from the Wizardry series is the classes, leveling and how your stats increases plus all the spells name and effect from it. What is different is the exploration in the different dungeons and the battleling method. I know some people say it is a p2w type of game. It might appear to be that at first but the two items you need to grow are in sufficient amount in the dungeons. Gold comes in easy and can be used to purchase quite a lot of items. The other item, the WJ comes in smallet quantity but still available. This is where you might take more time to accumulate it and this is ok. If you apy attention to some dungeons, you will find that in some of them, the monsters you battle will drop it and you can easily get up to 70 WJ from one dungeon run. Dungeons are in two categories, Normal and Master. The Normal ones are good to improve your characters while the Masters are where challenges are and special item will be found. I find Wizrogue catchy but I realize that this game is not for everyone! I still recommend this game, certainly compariung the price I paid and the number of hours I have already put in!
