Woodpunk is a really good Rogue-like game and does everything right as it is. Above All, the Difficulty level is well chosen, as it is not too light and becomes more demanding over time. Hope there will soon be a few more updates regarding the playable Areas or more bosses and more different Opponents:) Can the Game only recommend anyone who likes roguelike games and top down shooter:D

HI, I bought the Game. My Kids and I are playing it currently (Kids 9 + 12). It is shot and clenched but can also be played by children. You don't see Blood or other horrible Stuff. The Graphics may not be to everyone's Taste, but have never been the most important one for me. We have had Fun so far, but are still far from advancing to the Final Opponent. So Are still in the middle of it. I hope it doesn't get too hard with time.

Woodpunk is a good Rogue-like with interesting Weapons and Skill Trees. You can constantly improve your Punk, such as gaining Access to other Weapons or more Lives. Your constant Companion will be faithful to your side in Battle and will have some Surprises in store for you. Embark on a Journey and destroy Hordes of Enemies and discerning epic final opponents! Woodpunk certainly doesn't reinvent the Rogue-like genre, but is nevertheless a worthy, playful Representative at the narrow Price! Clear Thumbs up!!

I became aware of Woodpunk on Youtube, the Game is really not easy but is a lot of Fun due to the funny Graphics and the fast Gameplay. What starts easily quickly becomes more difficult, thankfully there are many Weapon Upgrades that give a new and stronger Ammunition. Woodpunk reminds me of Slot games from old, the individual Levels are (not too) short but fierce and whoever dies starts all over again, but that is precisely the Motivation – get better from times to time and then Defeat the Boss in the third Attempt!

This is a great little shooter with roguelike elements and a lot of fun to play in short bursts. It seems easy at first but gets more challenging once you reach the first boss, I also strongly suggest to play the worlds in order as you don’t stand a chance in later levels because you start out quite weak. But there is a techtree that gives you more power ups and new weapons when you progress. I haven’t played very far into the game but I am motivated to continue reaching the higher stages. Good: Great artstyle, fluid gameplay, fun effects (use the spear on large groups of enemies!) Bad: due to the randomly generated guns you can end up with a particulary weak combination in some instances
