World War Pigeon
About
World War Pigeon is a video game we made in 48 hours during the Global Game Jam of January 2018. The theme for this Game Jam was « Transmission ». With transmission, we directly thought about messages and that's how came our base idea for making a game on a racing pigeon.
During the First World War, the racing pigeons were used by the Allies to communicate with each other when they were on different battlefields. To counter them, the German army trained hawks to catch these brave birds and the messages they carried. Piégon the french pigeon was sent on this kind of mission to collect a very important message, which will help end the war once and for all.
In resume, this game is a really hard flappy-bird style game in a World War I bullet hell were you play as Piégon the french messenger pigeon.
Good luck. You will need it.
