World's Dawn reviews and comments

I just happened to find the Game On my Discovery List during the Summersale ... And I immediately fell in love. As a Harvest Moon Fan of the first Hour, it immediately appealed to me. Cute Graphics, loving Design, that's what has always made up the Charm Of this Game Series. Sure, today players pay more attention to other Characteristics at a Game, but personally I prefer to limit myself to the Essentials. Even though I still own and still play all The Harvest Moon Games, I often feel like a Farmer just before The Burnout. I run from Field to Field, hurriet my Animals, have to rush through the Village to give everyone, and also have a Variety of Leisure Activities to work on ... With all the Tasks, I often feel more exhausted after Playing than before. Actually, it should be Fun ... And that's exactly where World's Dawn scores. It's finally a Game that you can play for Pleasure. There are only two Fields at first, the Amount of Animals remains manageable. It is also pleasant that I do not have to push them around laboriously, but just to ring a Bell, so that the Animals go out of the Stable or Again in the evening into the Stable. As far As leisure Activities are concerned, in good Weather you can play Ball, fish or collect ingredients with different Residents every day. You can cook, there's the well-known TV and Village Festivals. These, by the way, are innovative and not copying. The Villagers are all lovingly designed and elaborated, with their own Personality and Backstory. Of Course, you can also get married: There are three Men and three Women to Choose from (at least two marriageable Characters will be unlocked with another Update). Unique to World's Dawn is that you can even choose which gender you want after deciding whether to play as a Boy or a girl! Or, if you can't or won't decide, you can even choose both. For Fans of the older Harvest Moon Parts such as Friends of Mineral Town I can definitely recommend the Game! Beginners in Farmer Simulations can also access in good Conscience, you get to know all the common Elements of such Games here.

World's Dawn is a really good Game for Fans of the Harvest Moon Series, but also for everyone else. I would say it's less a farm simulator than much more of a Dorfleb simulator. I didn't bother About that, but if you put a lot of emphasis on thousands of Animal Species, huge Stables and miles of fields with dozens of cultivable plants per Season, you can go with false Expectations of the Game. So Much in advance. What really really succeeded well in WD is the Urban Population. The Characters are all very individually designed and have their Peculiarities and Relationships with each other. I also noticed that they really have a lot to say and do not always repeat the same Sentence. They also appeal to current Things, such As a long Winning Streak at The Lockball (a Mini-game), or the impending Marriage. So the Village Community seems very lively and it is Fun to befriend and entertain people. There are a lot of Events and festivals, seasonal Markets where there are special Items, and there's a lot to collect that has held up the Motivation well with me. You can equip your Kitchen with different Utensils and then prepare dishes that you can give away, sell or eat yourself-or you need them for Quests. I really liked That. You can't expand Too Much. The House 1x and the Stable 1x-otherwise of course some Tools, but it is not as much as you know it from some Harvest Moon parts. Generally speaking, the Game seems to be designed for 1 Year of ingame game time, but this one is also really perfectly designed and never boring. However, The Developer is constantly working on the Game, so there may also be the Possibility that the Whole thing will be expanded. So summarized again:-many interesting, original, entertaining and beautifully drawn characters to get to know and befriend-Possibility to play as a Man or a woman-hetero, homo or bi-numerous Events, Festivals, markets that Take the Village life Enrich-collectable Furnishings, Clothes, fish, recipes, pieces of Music, stationery-Yet not quite as extensive as Harvest Moon All in all a game with a lot of Charm that has entertained me well, and in which you can feel how much Love there is in the Development. Definitely not a Purchase I regret.
