About

A series, that brought players several notable titles, was mostly set in 2D because artillery turn-based games have a set of mechanics that compliment the closed maps and complicated terrain. But Worms Ultimate Mayhem is a modernized remake of the different direction, taken by the Team 17. This game is a direct remake of Worms 4: Mayhem, expanding the movement mechanics to the 3D environments.
Worms Ultimate Mayhem adds several features to the typical Worms gameplay. Each player controls a team of 4 or fewer worms and can control one worm at a time, moving around, using items and attacking in a set amount of time. Then after each player moved and attacked in turn with all of their characters round starts over, and the game goes until only one player or a team left. There’s an option for players to play a single player campaign and challenges, from the previous Worms 3D games, or a match against bots with an improved AI. But any Worms have multiplayer modes, both local and online, with ranked matches. Each worm team can be customized with names, voices, hats, signature weapon, taunts and tombstones. Added in-game voice chats and real-time lighting, shaders and post process effects are adding to the improved design and comfortability.

Worms Ultimate Mayhem reviews and comments

The ultimate Sausage Experience in 3D. Worms is a turn-based Action/strategy game. Each Team usually has 4 Worms that fight each other with the most crazy Weapons. Each Team performs one Action one after the other until the End only one Team is over. There are a lot of Story Missions with a lot of Variety. IN some cases, AI is also quite decent. All the story Missions were packed by the Classic "Worms 3D." There are some Challenges where you can prove your Own, be it with Jetpack, Sniper or Shotgun to name a few. The Game has a local multiplayer mode where you can have hours of Fun with up to 3 Friends. Especially with the Slot Machine in Multiplayer, where up to three Power ups per Game can be selected, you can always create other Basic Prerequitance. Be it with low Gravity or double Damage to name just 2. There is an Online Emultiplayer where unfortunately there is not much going on. But once you have discovered one or the Other Player about the Steam forums, you will get down to Business. Can I recommend anyone. If I Stream it Zocke I also www.twitch.tv/zumlustigenschnitzlwirt

A game series that got the transition from 2D to 3D right. Ultimate Mayhem combines Worms 3D and Worms 4 Mayhem into one game and is an absolute content monster overall. Two singleplayer campaigns with changing objectives in every mission Challenge mode Various multiplayer modes and options playable offline or online with up to three other players 50+ Multiplayer maps with the possibility to make your own or let the game generate a random one Tons of options to customize your worms and create a team weapon for use in multiplayer 37 weapons and utilities, some new some from previous games The controls are alright but need some tweaking before they are fun to use, controller support is serviceable. One thing that is pretty subpar is everything that revolves around online play. Disconnects happen regularly and the player who's turn it is is always a few seconds ahead. Not a big problem in a turn based game but still annoying. The few seconds of wait time between turns also add up over the course of the match and make the game a bit less enjoyable. Ultimate Mayhem offers three DLC packs which do not add all that much but one of them is free, the "Multiplayer Pack" has some of the best maps and the last one adds more customization for your worms. I'd say go for the Deluxe Edition. If you plan on buying this for the multiplayer make sure you have some people to play with as otherwise you will have a hard time finding random people. I recommend it as an easy to pick up game and rather unusual experience that is great fun in singleplayer as well as multiplayer.
