Overview

For Yeva, an aspiring martial artist, the path to success seemed straightforward: Fight in the Durance, win the title of Battlemaster, and become the best warrior in Zahran history. But the Gods make their own plans... When things go disastrously wrong, she must travel the world to find the answers to her own problems,  uncovering a plot that could endanger the fabric of reality itself, and becoming a legend beyond her mortal dreams.

For those of you who like Baten Kaitos, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy, and many other fantasy JRPGs.

• 30+ (projected) gameplay hours with many optional sidequests (2-4 hour demo)
• Quirky, lovable characters -- learn more about your favorites in optional skits or chat with your followers on the world map
• A mystical world with magic dynamics unique to the world of Dicanthia (fantastic creatures, inverted waterfalls, a literal sea of stars) 
• Original character art, handcrafted parallax mapping, and UI design
• Dozens of fun abilities and powers to be gained throughout the story
• New and memorable battle system with clime system, a break system, and flash defense
• Socket system with insert-able gems to customize your fighting style

Status

2-4 hour demo completed (~%5 of the story). If you find any glitches just let me know!

There's not much you can do to speed up development, as I work on this in my free time... but if you have javascript experience, here are some open issues:

• Change battle HUD
• MOG Weather plugin glitch

Note

• The game is intended to be played using the 'ar cena' font. The game includes a font loader, but I would recommend installing the font to be safe (included in download).
• The game is intended to be played with a keyboard. Some features  may be mouse compatible, but I haven't tested everything.
• This is my first game release, so go easy on me. Many features are rough and will be polished more in later releases. Please be kind--the game is free, so if you don't like it, don't play it.
• A rudimentary walkthrough text file is included in the download if you need help. Controls are included in a text file as well.
• SAVE OFTEN--things could go very wrong...
