X-Plane 10 Global - 64 Bit reviews

Hello, I would like to give a "short" feedback on the X-Plane 10.45 (64-Bit): Predically, I am Not a Newcomer to flight simulation-started the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 at that Time and have been using the FSX with numerous Add-ons (FS Global, REX 4, VFR Germany, Global Weather, etc.). This one still looks quite nice, even though it's already quite old, but if you're honest, every cheap game nowadays has better Graphics and runs more fluidly. That's why I've been looking for an alternative for me for a Long time. The Further development of Lockheed Martin "Prepar3D" Is out of the question for me at first, because it is probably a different Target Group than the hobby simulants. See currently available software licensing agreements. And whether Dovetail games will create something Sensible based on the Microsoft flight simulator in the near future, I still doubt. But let's wait and see. I had already tested The X-Plane a few Years ago and also tested it (Demo), but it didn't really away at that time, apart from its good Performance. Now I recently watched a You-Tube video with the current X-Plane Version and was amazed at how good the Flight simulation looks with it. Especially at Night. Then immediately at Steam looked at what the X-Plane costs here and immediately slammed it at the Summer sale. Thought for the Money nothing is broken and I can test the Simulator in more detail. First Impression – well not so good. Although the highest graphics settings, the cockpit textures of the Cessna were totally slurred and my IR tracker didn't work skilfully either. But my FSX looks much better. No matter – fly first and then we see on. Standard Flight launched. Driving, Flying feeling very good. Is somehow more authentic than the FSX. Everything runs much rounder and smoother – like a newer game with a good Graphics Engine. Ok, then selected as the next Home Airfield in The Allgäu with the Expectation that only the Runway is lovelessly placed (since no Addon is loaded yet), but lo and understanding – looks almost like the old FSX with additional scanyery. Well, Machine started, lifted off and then almost no longer dared my Eyes. All the Roads were where they belong, Cars drive around everywhere, the Power Poles and Lines in Place. Every Hill recognizable. The Overall Landscape (Houses, Trees, colours, Mountains) looks much more pleasant and realistic here. And this is mind without Additional Installations – only the Steam Basic Version. Am impressed. Then it becomes dawning – coherent lights and luminous Effects everywhere. Sunset, the Mountains – without Words. In case of Rain finally again drops on the Windshield. Even the runways are not just straight Levels, but also have Bulges, Inclinations depending on the Airfield. great! Back to the Problem with the unsightly cockpit textures and my IR tracker control. Have searched the Internet and found out that it is due to the Aircraft model. With the "King Air B200" Payware plane, the Cockpit is razor-sharp and my Tracker also works perfectly. FAZIT: Should Have switched from FSX to X-Plane a long time ago. Instead of hundreds of Add-ons that never really harmonize with each other, the Basic Version brings almost everything here to get an extremely authentic flying Experience. Faster, nicer, more realistic! (Note: Haven'T tested the X-Plane in detail yet. I'm sure here another Crutch will appear, which makes me a little more negative again, but as written-the first Impression is top ... And I haven't uninstalled the FSX yet;)
