X-Plane 11 reviews

After 17 beta versions, the "Game" has finally been released. To anticipate, it playfully has nothing more to do with its Predecessor, in a very positive Way. It may sound pathetic, but this Game could (!) SWEEP away P3D and the ancient FSX. Each of these Competing Products, of course, has its Raison d 'Être and Competition revives the Business. Still, the other Manufacturers will have to make an effort to avoid being Sidelined. Until now, the X-Plane Series has always been a very bulky Simulator. Ugly Menus, a "goes so" graphics and an annoying Operation were the Features of the Software. But What always spoke for X-Plane 11 was the very good Flight Model. In a limited Simulation (among other things, certified Hardware is required), the Simulator in the Pro version is also used for professional Flight Exercises. So the Flight Model is so meaningful that it was used for The Pre-simulations of Space-X. Version 11 was used to address these Problems without abandoning the above strengths. A complete Rebuilding of the whole Operation, a Flight school And a new Lighting Model allow the Simulator to shine in new Splendour. It is Impressive when the Flight Simulator is equipped with scenery Add-ons or a refined Car path of the Terrain is used. The View from the Cockpit window seems incredibly realistic and comes as close to Reality as no other Simulator. But even without Extensions, a View of the World is huge Fun. Especially at night above the Lights of the City Goosebumps feeling comes Up. Again and again it was asked in disbelief at the beginning if the really Out of the Box is delivered. It is also Clear, however, that there are no (or few selected) Landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower in the Simulation. The Landscapes are not set manually, but are computer-generated using Map data. Due to the Tools provided and the great Community, however, such Roder Recognition Points are constantly maintained and supplemented. Of Course, there are Flight Sims that recreate an Area such as New York in a very detailed way and deliver it directly. But in this Flight Sim it is not possible to fly Frankfurt to Los Angeles. Due to Car Generation, however, the Main Roads, Railway Lines, Rivers, Shorelines and Mountains are exactly where you would expect them to be. Especially in unknown Areas, where you don't know the neighbor's House, the Car gen is credible. So the aforementioned Long-haul Flight feels "right." The Flight Model herself, has a very high Level. You always have the Feeling of Dynamism and not of "flying on Rails" like you do with the Competition. If you turn on the View of the Force Imualtion, it is easy to observe how the Aircraft becomes a Play ball of E.g. Crosswinds and Bands. Basically, the Degree of Realism depends not only on the Engine, but also, of course, on the Implementation of the Aircraft. The numerous enclosed Fliers have a reasonable Quality. However, if you want to Simulate the Viscosity of Motor oil at different Temperatures and Heights (there is indeed), you will be disappointed here, as with all other Simulators. If you don't want to settle for it, you have to resort to Add-ons. Due to the History, there are simply more high-class Fliers here for P3D and FSX (we're talking about commercial Add-ons > €40 here). Well-known Aircraft types such as the A320 are of course also available from JARDesign, for example, for X-Plane. I can well imagine that this will change sustainably and that X-Plane will become much more important for the Addonmarket in the Future. For this, the Substructure of the Competition is simply too outdated, but just still very common. If you don't want to spend money, you will find on a number of sites sometimes very well free community aircraft (x-plane.org), which are expanding the Portfolio properly. Even though it's still a Simulator and not a Game in the real Sense (there are no Levels or Game Goals), I'm hugely looking forward to the next Few weeks. I Am also excited to see how this Game evolves. Patch support and Transparency have been great so far, so I'm not Worried here. X-Plane 11 is the first Simulator that works well after installation and also has everything important (Airplanes, Landscapes, Weather, Graphics and Flight Model) on Board. I have not been able to detect any technical Problems during Testing. So I can only make a Recommendation and a "you can see yourself in the Cockpit."
