About

Xion revives the arcade and shoot ’em ups of the 1990’s in a refreshing and unique way with a fully destructible voxel landscape setting and your very own spaceship that you design and upgrade in an infinite number of ways.

* Blast your way and explore through multiple randomized levels, such as Cityscape, Red Valley, Island and Volcanoes, Outer Space and much more.
* Everything is destructible.
* Design and build your own ship.
* Defeat the big bad end-bosses of each level. Proving a challenge for even the most seasoned player.

“I think the golden age of gaming just got here :)”

“You nailed it when you overhauled the game a couple of releases ago. It's a joy to play, congrats on the full release.”

“To be honest this game took me by surprise, I just could not stop playing it.”

“The graphic style I must admit I love and the attention to detail is just amazing, one of the things I like the most apart from the game itself is building your own spacecraft it's really, really fun. This game is a must have.”

“A big thumbs up. Another one of those VR titles that reinvigorates the genre.”

“This game takes me back to Gummi Ship building in Kingdom Hearts 1. Mostly the same principle. Spend points to buy ship structure, engine, power generators and weapons. “

“The potential here is huge, you play this game and literally dream of where this concept can go.“

“Simple, fun and exhilarating gameplay, build the best ship your credits can buy to beat the game at the hardest level!”

“What a Great game, i really love the the building system in this game that you can build your own ship and shot your way through levels of levels. Its really enjoyable to just destroy everything on the map “

Early Access Review Even if this Game has only 3 Levels to choose from, you can still sweat with a higher degree of floating. And then when you go Game Over you can start from gaaanz up front. So I can only recommend the Game, it makes a lot of Mood and the Music is super good, even if in The later Course Of the game you have so much Bumm Bumm around your Ears that you don't hear it properly anymore. Early Access Review For now i can not recommend this game. Sure it has a lot potential sure. Things that bug me the most: -The levels are not destructable. Just some small parts and only sometimes. -The ship has indirect controlls. Means you have a delay when you move it. -The wall at the end that "spawns" the level is to close in my opinion. -Only a view enemy types with no soul. -lots of missing sounds I don´t know. The game can become good and i will change my review if it does in the future. What i like to see: -Take the pressure out and make the level move slower if enemys are there. Or make it stop until the enemys are cleared. -Make the levels destructable -Give me free movement without delay. I know some cores are build around it but give me a shild or something instead. -The level barrier is to close. I am open to talk about it so hit me for questions. -review will get updated -

Early Access Review This is awesome. i always loved shmup games and have played them to death... this really is the next evolution. If you got a taste for more after valves xortex game in the lab.. or have ever enjoyed a sidescrolling airship/helicopter/starship game like ikaruga, dodonpachi, r-type, gradius, raiden, resogun, thunder force, or the like... GET THIS! I would actually recommend this game to any vive owner. when you build your ship, remember that all guns need power to shoot, that you need wings to turn well, engines to move quickly... also the enemies can shoot of parts of your ship, so you might loose your only gun if you are not carefull. currently, version 0.62, the ship building is VERY clunky and the levels dont have that many variations, so you will see level tiles/"rooms" many times when playing. the worst aspect of the game is the ship building clunkyness, especially the connection modules... with the vive you have to hold the controllers parallel to eachother when connecting, or a node will disappear. a node will also disappear when you choose to regret most recently connected module. you can only regret once, or you have to reset ship. and its fiddly to build when the controllers have to bump into eachothers when building. you cannot remove something other than through regret aswell. would love to see this getting some space levels looking like Gunhed, Super Star Soldier, Soldier blade, Gradius,life force/salamander etc... or maybe a swamp level like stage two in jamestown... would be so awesome.
