Wii Balance Board accompanied by the Wii Balance Walker programm (you can find it here: http://www.greycube.com/site/download.php?view.68 )

a short distance beamer

some good speakers for sound

You may also play without this setup on your pc.

I recommend playing with headphones.
Expect a low FPS.

Controlls.

Just go with the flow and press "w" to move on. Use "shift" for more energetic walking. This is needed to climb hills.
