Yellow Sky
About
Yellow Sky is a single player strategy game focused on resource-management and survival, played through the lens of a more traditionally inclined RPG/Adventure game.
After years of ignored warnings made by the scientific community, a resource shortage ravages the world, leaving humanity torn apart. 200 years into the future, you wake up as the lone survivor of a natural disaster, and after dusting yourself from the debris, you set on a course to restore the few that is left in this wasteland.
- Unique mix of game genres.
- Dynamic weather system including natural disasters.
- Environmental storytelling imbued into strategy gameplay.
- Atmospheric post-apocalyptic wasteland to explore.
- Procedurally generated runs each and every time.
You'll find beacons of society gathered into camps, as well as abandoned facilities and other oddities spread throughout the plains. Survival can't be accomplished by oneself though, so you need to talk to folks, barter for supplies, do odd jobs, and bring production lines back to life.
The damage has already been done though, and there isn't any silver bullet laying around than can fix the problem. You will inevitably die just like any other wastelander, but you *can* manage the inheritance regarding future generations, and how long will it take until they can manage to scrape by once again.
