About

The original PC sensation that started it all! We've brought it back in all its virginal glory!

The world was a much simpler place in 1995. The kids were listening to the grunge, the first test-tube gorilla was born at the Cincinnati Zoo, and a little trivia game called YOU DON’T KNOW JACK took the interactive CD-ROM trivia game show world by storm. Play now and relive that crazy, mixed-up time all over again!

YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 1 XL reviews and comments

Translated by

YOU DON'T KNOW ENGLISCH THE Game series originally came out for Playstation 1 and has now been released, years later, On Steam. The Thumb goes up, but please read the whole Review, which is representative of the entire Game series! Gameplay The entire "YOU DON'T KNOW JACK" – series is a Quiz Game characterized by abstract Questions and a lot of Humor. You can choose whether you want to play alone or in Party Mode and are then asked 7 or 21 Questions, whereby you can choose from one of three questionable Categories. Whoever presses the "Buzzer" may answer: If it is Correct, there is the Sum on the Account, otherwise it will be deducted. Occasionally there are Additional Games where you have to associate Terms and the Like. Story Clear, the Game is a Quiz Show and has no History with it. However, the toned Voices are simply the Hammer and constantly tear very Jokes. In the End, there are also disturbing and funny Promotional Clips to Listen to. The Categories are also quite crazy and the Questions are asked, for example, with double Negation and often include Foreign Words or older political Issues. But here lies the big Problem: The Game is only available in English! Normally not a big Deal, but as already mentioned, many Foreign Words are used, which one can already translate hard into German and then rarely knows what is meant. In addition, historical, social and political Questions target the USA and not, as in my Playstation Version, at the Germans. Unfortunately, the Resolution is not simply so scalable, which only opens the Game in a small Window. Otherwise, the Game is not graphically elaborate, because it is very old on the One hand and a Quiz Game on The Other. The Music sounds very flaky Like a typical Quiz show and the Setting Was just great in the English version and at that time also in the German. Verdict "YOU DON'T KNOW JACK" is a super Game, which used to Make me laugh on the Playstation all the Time. Unfortunately, the Steel version Was only published in English and I really tried almost everything. I searched for the German Setting on the Internet and wrote to the Developers, but to no Avail. However, you can play the first Part recreated in the Browser, but I will not publish the Link here logically. Definitely Thank you to this Guy for recreating a super Game. If you are really good at English, you can buy the Game Series, otherwise I would strongly advise against it. Did you like the Review?
