Left screen: click on the buttons to redirect power from the reactor to different systems. 

Right screen: A and D keys to turn, push the throttle with the mouse to accelerate. 

press "fire" to... fire :P

DESCRIPTION:

"You have The Conn"

You control a starship trying to survive for as long as possible. Your reactor is underpowered and your energy grid has a suboptimal layout, which means you constantly have to juggle the power- connections of your ships systems to keep flying.

“You have the Conn” is a game about making the most out of a bad situation that is constantly getting worse, with often limited information about the outside world.

This game was made for the GMTK 2021 Game Jam which had the theme “joined together”. This theme is integrated in several ways: several systems will often need to work together in order to function, and power conduits connecting all systems are the games main source of frantic micromanaging as the player tries to keep the ship in one piece while under fire.

All Assets and Code were made during the 48-Hour Jam.
