Zanzarah: The Hidden Portal reviews

I've actually been a big Fan of Daedalic for Years, played just about all the Games and played Zanzarah several times as a Kid. Unfortunately I lost the CD of Zanzarah, which is why I bought the Steamversion, but already on the first Start I had the same Problem with the Frames as many here. After a long googling, I found a Solution for this (where you also have to accept a much worse graphics quility), but in The Pinzip the Game remains unplayable! Apart From the Graphics Errors, it is incredibly confused: Shadow Elves are in the wrong Place or have far too starke/fairies for their Area, in some Places you are constantly attacked by Fairies, so you have to stop the Game, etc. I am really disappointed with Daedalic and glad that I got it reduced after all. You put the Game out before TWO YEAR and in the Meantime didn't stir a Finger for Zanzarah anymore! Saves the Money and buys the Game oldschool on CD, because it is a beautiful Game in itself!

Finally I have it again it is still just as Fun as it is. I then'm still running on my Notebook testing obs. So with my Desktop PC Win 8.1 everything going flawlessly some complain about the Mouse wouldn't go or Graphics errors. NVIDIA Users should use the latest Graphics Card Driver and only run in 32bit Mode then run everything as it should. Habs times purely copied for everyone. Please check that you are using the latest Drivers for your Graphics Card (especially for NVIDIA Cards). The latest Drivers can always be found manually directly on the Manufacturer's Side. Unfortunately, Automatic Windows Udates don't always find them. -Symptom of NVIDIA Graphics Cards: Broken Polygon Display After the start of the first Scene. Solution: 1. OPEN NVIDIA Control. 2. Under "Manage 3D Settings"-> "Program Oppositions," select the installed "Zantph.exe." 3. In the case Of "maximum Number of pre-rendered individual Images," set the Value to "1" and take Over 4. The Graphics Errors have now disappeared. -Incompatibility with Notebooks (FPS dips in the Menu): Please use modes with 32 Bit color Depth when Adjusting the Screen resolution. Addendum: Habs tested on the Notebook there I have an NVIDIA Graphics card no matter If old Drivers or new Drivers no matter what settings I play with, although they don't have any Mouse problems as some report in the Menu everything runs normally as soon as I'm in the Game I just see the London Background and the Girl the Rest is a Pixel Porridge. On the Desktop PC with ATI graphics card runs The Game Impeccable I hope for everyone else that, the Problem is fixed nevertheless I give a clear Buy recommendation from Nostalgia, in the Hope there is sometime a part 2 And I hope that this Version will still be ironed out.
